Festival Tickets | Your Festival Experience Starts Here - Festicket

Tickets & accommodation packages to the world's best music festivals. Enjoy yourself and let us sort out the details.
The Story behind Festicket
It all started back in 2011, when two – long-time friends – wanted to organize a group trip to the world-famous festival, Coachella.

They asked themselves essential questions:
"Should we go camping, or stay at a hotel?", "Is this hostel convenient?
Does it provide the best value for money?", "Should we go for the VIP ticket or the General Admission one?", and "Should we book local transportation?".
The planning and booking process was painful, time-consuming and very expensive!
They didn’t make it to Coachella that year.

Instead, they started on a mission: To gather the festival and live music community around a central booking platform to make things more open, aware and connected. After a few weeks of brainstorming (and quite a few Skype sessions), Festicket was born.

Motoring Style — Emerges of the hottest fashion trends of early 20th century:

Driving Gloves to Car Coats;
Automobiles helped introduced a stylish fashion to the American culture.

Whether stepping into a Lyft or the driver’s seat of our own ride, most of us don’t give a second thought to the convenience that is a car.

But when the automobile first rolled out, it changed life as Americans knew it,

opening up a new range of possibilities while at the same time making the world seem a bit smaller. And that tectonic shift rocked not only the transportation industry but, perhaps unexpectedly, the world of fashion, too.

Keep in mind that the car’s predecessor was the horse and buggy. (Yawn.)

So this monumental leap in technology warranted a sartorial change just as major, in terms of both form and function. Thus, motoring style — from driving gloves to car coats to goggles — soon emerged as one of the hottest fashion trends of the early 20th century. Full Article

Pat O'Reilly models a Burberry car coat.
Whether you were in the passenger seat or the driver’s, a car coat was crucial during the early years of automobiles, a comfortable, warm coat not prone to wrinkles was essential for men and women alike.

Car coats were often loose and oversized to allow maximum mobility and were made of heavyweight cloth, leather, or fur to keep the wearer cozy and warm. In summer months, lightweight coats of linen or alpaca wool — also known as “dusters” — were worn to shield one’s outfit from dust and dirt.

Not surprisingly, female motorists found a fashion opportunity in the car coat.

The Future of Your Music— Working with actual Facts!

Stay Informed. Engage. Learn.

 Future of Music Coalition:
Founded by musicians, artist advocates, technologists and legal experts.
Future of Music Coalition works to ensure that musicians have a voice in the issues that affect their livelihood. FMC’s activities are rooted in the real-world experiences and ambitions of working musicians, whose perspectives are often overlooked in policy debates. Over the years, FMC has provided an important forum for discussion about issues at the intersection of music, technology, policy, and law. Guided by a firm conviction that public policy has a real impact on the lives of both musicians and fans, FMC advocates for a balanced approach to music in the digital age — one that reflects the interests of all stakeholders, and not just the powerful few.
By documenting historic and emerging trends in the music industry, FMC has become a trusted voice in the ongoing dialog about the challenges and opportunities facing today’s musicians. VP of FMC shares insight on music policy and FMC’s work around artist access and compensation in a hardball world of influence and intrigue.

FMC, built as an attempt both to address pressing music-technology issues and to serve as a voice for musicians in Washington, DC, where critical decisions are being made regarding musicians’ intellectual property rights without a word from the artists themselves. FMC organization manifesto is based on three core issues.

Future of Music Coalition
An ongoing effort in fighting for a legitimate digital music marketplace and a broadcast media that values local and independent culture, establishing a healthier music ecosystem.
FMC, ensuring that musicians have a voice in the debates that shape the industry, now and in the future:

Future of Music Coalition | Education, Research and Advocacy for Musicians

Future of Music Coalition is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and as such, we cannot endorse parties or candidates. We are proud of our long history of working with members of both major parties to achieve sound policies which benefit musicians and serve the public interest. That bipartisan approach has served us well over the years.

These ambitious ventures could very well change the music industry

Cryptocurrency: Is it taking over the music industry?

One of Asia’s largest music streaming companies known as KKBox,
has formed a partnership with blockchain asset management firm Bitmark.
KKBox also organizes concerts and live events.

Together, they are creating a blockchain-based music rights platform to pay artists immediately, starting with dozens of Asian artists such as Khalil Fong and Diana Wang. Bitmark isn’t the only one with this idea.

The Los Angeles-based blockchain startup Vezt raised more than $4.7 million through token sales leading up to the launch of its royalties management platform. The Vezt platform is scheduled for a beta launch this spring. They’ve acquired almost 30 songs, including hits by Dr. Dre, Kanye West, Jay-Z, John Legend and Drake. In 2017, Drake’s song ‘Jodeci (Freestyle)’ was the startup’s first “initial song offering.” Vezt CEO and co-founder Steve Stewart told International Business Times his team is still busy building the online platform. The startup will distribute royalties while allowing users to store profits on the platform.

Many blockchain companies are launching cryptocurrency platforms for the music industry, from SingularDTV’s SingularX to the iTunes-inspired BitTunes. They target some of the biggest pain points in the industry: It can take months for everyone who worked on a song to get paid. There are dozens of middle men who chip away at the artists' earnings along the way, from concert revenue to royalties.

Cryptocurrency creates transparent systems for immediate payment processing, a solid legal support and a pragmatic outlook on rolling out products in waves.
These ambitious ventures could very well change the music industry as we know it.

Cryptocurrency Gives Artists More Power In The Music Industry

Bitcoin isn't just for geeks and hackers anymore. Rapper Ghostface Killah of the Wu-Tang Clan will launch two cryptocurrencies with the startup Cream Capital next week, inspired by bitcoin's underlying blockchain technology. In September, DJ Khaled also promoted an initial coin offering (ICO), a high-tech fundraising trend, calling digital currency a "game changer" on Instagram.
The music industry is going gaga for blockchain technology.
Here’s why: It gives artists more control over their careers than was ever possible before. 'The power of the artist, and the art in their hands'.
